Wansui Mountain Martial Arts City is located in the middle section of Dongjing Avenue, Longting District, Kaifeng City. It is a large-scale immersive theme park centered on the martial arts culture of the Song Dynasty. The park is open year-round. The best time to visit is spring and autumn, when the climate is mild and pleasant. In summer, you can experience the Water Splashing Festival and the evening iron-smelting flower and light shows. In winter, there are fewer tourists, and the snow-covered scenery combined with the ancient-style architecture creates a unique atmosphere. It is recommended to allocate a full day (6 to 8 hours) to fully appreciate the charm from the daytime martial arts world to the nighttime splendor.
For visitors driving, navigation is available to the "Wansui Mountain Martial Arts City North Gate Parking Lot," with parking fees approximately 10 yuan per day. Alternatively, take the Lianhuo Expressway and exit at Kaifeng; the park is directly ahead. For high-speed rail, choose either Kaifeng North Station (approximately 15-20 minutes by taxi, costing 15-25 yuan) or Kaifeng Station (approximately 10-15 minutes by taxi, costing 10-15 yuan). Public buses such as routes 1, 15, 33, and 35 go directly to the "Wansui Mountain Martial Arts City" stop; shared electric bicycles are also available. Foreign visitors can enter the park with their passports. Tickets are 100 yuan for adults, allowing unlimited entry for three consecutive days and including complimentary visits to the Hanyuan Stele Forest, Kaifeng City Wall, and Iron Pagoda Park. The core experience of the scenic area is the full-day immersive live-action performances – must-see highlights include the large-scale live-action horse battle "Three Attacks on Zhujiazhuang" and the national intangible cultural heritage "Iron Flower Dance".
Wansui Mountain Park is quite large with long walking trails; you can easily walk over 20,000 steps a day, so comfortable shoes are recommended. There are plenty of clean restrooms within the park, including accessible restrooms, free wheelchairs, and mother-and-baby rooms. Free hot water and shared power banks are available in multiple locations. Luggage storage is available at the main entrance. The park has cultural and creative shops and several affordable restaurants; bottled water costs about 1.5 yuan, and various Kaifeng snacks are reasonably priced. Several Hanfu rental shops are nearby, where you can rent Hanfu for makeup and photoshoots.
