Qingming Riverside Landscape Garden is a national 5A-level Song Dynasty cultural theme park, a 1:1 replica of the famous Northern Song Dynasty painting "Along the River During the Qingming Festival" by Zhang Zeduan. The park is divided into the South Garden (Folk Customs Area) and the North Garden (Royal Garden Area), and offers over 100 free Song Dynasty-style performances daily. It is recommended to allocate a full day for your visit. The best time to visit is spring (April-May) and autumn (September-October), when the weather is cool and pleasant. If time is limited, it is recommended to enter the park at 4 pm and leave at 9 pm, so that you can experience both the lively atmosphere of the city during the day and the beautiful lights at night.
Transportation: After arriving at Kaifeng North Station by high-speed rail, you can take bus route 38 (approximately 30 minutes) or a taxi (approximately 15 minutes) to reach the scenic area. From Kaifeng Station, you can take bus routes 1 or 15 directly (approximately 20 minutes). From Zhengzhou, you can take the intercity railway to Songcheng Road Station, then transfer to a bus or take a taxi for about 10 minutes. Within Kaifeng city, you can also take bus routes 1, 15, 20, 30, and tourist special lines directly to the scenic area. In terms of activities, it is recommended to focus on watching live performances, combined with strolling through ancient streets, tasting local snacks, and taking a night cruise, to immerse yourself in the experience of "stepping into a painting and traveling back a thousand years in a day".
The park is primarily walkable, so comfortable shoes are recommended. All paths are smooth and accessible; wheelchairs, canes, and strollers can be rented free of charge at the visitor center. Restrooms are plentiful, clean, and hygienic, providing free tissues and hot water. There are also mother-and-baby rooms and accessible toilets.
