The entire scenic area consists of three main sections: besides the main waterfall, it also includes Doupotang Waterfall (a filming location for the TV series *Journey to the West*) and Tianxing Bridge. It is recommended to allow 4-5 hours for the visit. The best time to visit is during the high-water season from June to October each year, when the water volume is at its maximum and the waterfall is at its most magnificent.
The most convenient way to reach Huangguoshu Waterfall is to take the high-speed train from Guiyang North Station to Anshun West Station (approximately 30 minutes, fare 46.5 yuan). After exiting the station, take a direct bus from Anshun West Bus Station to the Huangguoshu Scenic Area (approximately 40 minutes, fare 22 yuan). For those driving, routes can be found on Baidu or Gaode Maps. The scenic area consists of three main sections, with considerable distances between attractions.
