Libo Xiaoqikong Scenic Area is known as the "Emerald on the Earth's Belt," with its core attraction being the reflection of the ancient seven-arched bridge from the Qing Dynasty in the emerald-green Hanbi Pool. The best time to visit is from June to August during the high-water season, when the waterfalls are at their most spectacular; September and October offer the clearest water. The entire tour takes approximately 4-6 hours, and a sightseeing bus ride is mandatory.
The most convenient way to get to Xiaoqikong Scenic Area in Libo is by high-speed rail to "Libo Station". After exiting the station, you can take bus routes 1 or 13 (5 yuan) or the scenic area shuttle bus (approximately 35 yuan) directly to the East or West Gate of the Xiaoqikong Scenic Area. Two recommended routes are: First, enter and exit from the East Gate, first taking a sightseeing bus to Xiaoqikong Ancient Bridge to admire Laya Waterfall and the 68-tiered waterfall, then taking a bus to visit Cuigu Waterfall and Wolongtan; second, enter from the West Gate and exit from the East Gate, taking a downhill route to visit core attractions such as Wolongtan and the Water Forest, which is less strenuous. The sightseeing bus within the scenic area is a must-buy and allows unlimited rides.
The Xiaoqikong Scenic Area in Libo boasts well-developed facilities, with sightseeing buses connecting the main attractions. Restrooms are plentiful and clean, and gift shops and restaurants are located at the entrance and rest areas. A McDonald's and a supermarket are also near the East Gate Visitor Center. Overall, visiting here is a very relaxing and comfortable experience.
