Avatar's Floating Mountains
The towering sandstone pillars of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park inspired the floating Hallelujah Mountains in the movie Avatar. This UNESCO Global Geopark features over 3,000 quartzite sandstone pillars, the world's longest glass bridge, and dramatic cable car rides through the clouds. A bucket-list destination for nature lovers.

Home to the world's longest cable car (7.5km) and the terrifying glass skywalk, Tianmen Mountain offers heart-stopping experiences. The cable car ascends through clouds to Heaven's Gate - a massive natural arch in the cliff. The glass-bottomed walkway clings to a sheer cliff face 1,400m above the valley. For the brave, there's also the coiling 99-bend road and cliff-hanging plank paths.
